UPDATE: ELECTION RESULTS 2016

Share this:

We Are The Fighting Union – This Presidential Election Does Not Change That.

First and foremost, this election was a terrible result for our nation and our membership. No way around that. We need to recognize how real the threats to working families are, and how crucial it is that we confront these threats head-on.

Moving forward, it is important to separate the national result from what is within our control. Our membership’s work this election cycle gave CWA it’s largest political program since the union has been tracking political work. We were the deciding force in a number of races this election cycle, and we should recognize that. A large number of local candidates and initiatives were propelled to victory by our membership and our membership’s program — below you can see the list of the candidates that CWA directly helped to win in this election cycle.
